HAM ANIMALS BREEDING FARM is a private farm, located in central region of Uganda in Kayunga district bordering Eastern part of the country. The bordering districts are Luwero in west, Nakasongola in north, Kamuli in the eastern, then Mukono in the west..... Its located in the northern sub county of the district called Galiraya, in Kasokwe parish, Bbanda village. Its 134 kilometers from Kampala the capital city of the country to the farm, Distance from Kayunga town to the farm it is 65 kilometers , from Kasokwe trading center to the farm its 3 kilometers. It was started in the July 2018, with 100 cross breed of savannas and boar goats with males that are 100% pure savanna and 100% pure Boar. The director Hamiisi Semanda got an idea of goats farming from Ssembabule goat pilot with Sembeguya estates where he used to work as assistant manager and incharge in breeding and head of marketing. He Was challenged by the farmers whom he used to mentor them in goats business upon having a big number where they used to earn a lot of money, that is what made him resign and decided to start up his own farm and became a full time farmer. Its currently owning over 1000 goats.
The main objectives is to accumulate 300000 hybrid goats for breeding. Creating more other strong farmers who will be able to rear over 3000 goats per farm to be the genetic pool for the whole of Africa. To train people how to create jobs than seeking jobs. Creating practical awareness on how Africans can utilize the gifted nature to make money (through farming). To guide and create a critical mass of millions of goats in Africa majorly in Uganda such that we can export to European markets.
